This policy covers all apps published by HICO3000, including TipCalculator3000, MileageTracker3000, Books3000, and FacilityIQ.
The Short Version
We don't collect your data. Period. Our apps run entirely on your device. Nothing is sent to our servers because we don't have servers. There is no account to create, no analytics to opt out of, and no data to request deletion of — because we never had it in the first place.
Data Collection
Our apps do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. This includes but is not limited to:
- Location data (MileageTracker3000 uses GPS locally — nothing is transmitted)
- Camera/photo data (TipCalculator3000 processes receipts on-device only)
- Financial data (Books3000 stores all data locally on your device)
- Usage analytics or crash reports
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Email addresses or contact information
Third-Party Services
Some apps offer optional "Bring Your Own Key" AI features. If you choose to use these, your data is sent directly from your device to the AI provider you configured (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic). We are not a party to that transaction and do not see, store, or relay any of that data. Review your chosen AI provider's privacy policy for their data handling practices.
Data Export
When you export data (CSV reports, PDF documents), the files are created on your device and shared using your phone's native share sheet. We have no access to exported files.
Email Signup
If you sign up for launch notifications on this website, we store your email address solely to notify you when apps launch. We will never sell, share, or use your email for any other purpose. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Children's Privacy
Our apps do not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change this policy, we'll update this page with the new date. Given that our entire model is "we don't touch your data," meaningful changes are unlikely.
